WOW! Where did summer go? Sunday, I headed out to the the Kitsap Fairgrounds with my projects in hand that I was entering in our local fair. In the past I have entered items in the Western Washington fair in Puyallup, but this year I decided to support out the local fair. Someone from out of the area in doing the judging which seems fair. I just can't believe it is that time of year.
I have been busy this summer as everyone else probably has with vacations, gardening, BBQ, playing with grandchildren and knitting of course.
I finished a Reynolds Mandalay Silk wrap, which I started back at the end of May. I couldn't handle knitting on my current WIP this summer as they were wool and I needed something cooler to work on. It is one of my favorite wraps thus far to wear this summer. It is a great color to wear with my blue jeans on those summer cool evenings. It is called "Cozy" and the pattern is from Knitty.com Fall 04 achieves , Designer is Danielle Schoonover A very easy quick pattern.

I've got that same Cozy shawl sitting in my WiP pile, LOL Your's looks gorgeous, great job!!! It'll be interesting to see how things place with the Kitsap County Fair this year. I'm sure you'll do well cause anyone with half a brain can see your work is or darn near is flawless!!! We'll see how I do with the Evergreen Fair....knitting entries all over the place!!!

Your Cozy shawl is beautiful! I love the colour you used and can imagine it would be perfect with blue jeans or a long cotton skirt.
