Thank you for posting this on your blog. I have a new post since Rick's passing the other day.

I played bass with Ricky, starting in 1965... We were 11 and, by 15 he was one of the best guitarists in the northwest. Seeing him on life support broke my heart. I am sorry he is gone as he had a lot more music in him. JOE

I went to school with Rick. He was one of a kind, and truly an inspiration to everyone whose lives he touched. It was obvious in the outpouring of support for his family at his funeral. I'd say that there were about 500 people there. What a tragedy to lose such an awesome soul...too soon. My thoughts and prayers will continue for his family and closest friends. I will miss his huge smile and bear hugs whenever I had the pleasure to see him. Heaven has been immensely blessed with his presence.
