It's Snowing in the Northwest

I didn't think we were going to get any snow this year, Well, guess what!!!!! 6-14 inches predicted.  I love the snow when it is fresh and new and I like that it only lasts for a short time.

Elwood experienced it for the first time. He couldn't figure out what it was. He kept smelling and getting his little black now covered in the white stuff.

Jazz says, "Well, at least I don't have to bother with that bothersome dachshund, 'Moose." There isn't room for both of us up here and I almost fit. He is such a pester, sometimes, when I am trying to snooze."

Our Collie "Breezie"

A couple of months ago, we lost our male collie, Tango. It was very sad time for all of us, but especially hard on our female collie, She has been very depressed. We are really happy, becuase she is starting to feel better and bond with us. In the past, she never wanted to come inside, until just recently.  She was a "kennel" dog and we didn't get her until she was 9 years old. She is a very sweet dog, but just doesn't bond to humans easily.

Moose and his Chew

He carries this chew from room to room. He needs to protect it from Jazz our cat. (like Jazz would even want it)  Sometimes "Jazz" isn't even allowed in the same room as his chew.
