It's Snowing in the Northwest

I didn't think we were going to get any snow this year, Well, guess what!!!!! 6-14 inches predicted.  I love the snow when it is fresh and new and I like that it only lasts for a short time.

Elwood experienced it for the first time. He couldn't figure out what it was. He kept smelling and getting his little black now covered in the white stuff.

 Went outside to take the boys on this lovely morning to find my beautiful Poppies in bloom. I think they are my favorite flower.

A Beautiful Saturday! "A great day and perfect weather!"

What a beautiful Saturday! I mailed off a contract to a publisher, sent them swatches for a new book, taught a a technique class, lunch with my husband and worked in the garden.

A New Petunia color this year. Love it!!!! 

A Touch Of Summer!

One thing about summer is the extra beauty is provides with the beautiful color of flowers.

What a great weekend! We had some some beautiful sunshine and the temperature was just prefect. The birds were singing and the garden is full of beautiful flowers and of course, my gorgeous hydrangea plants are starting to bloom. I  taught a Technique class on Saturday. The students were so excited about learning the handy little techniques and hints that I have gathered from decades of knitting. It was great fun.
